Q: Is the 13th Floor, on the 13th floor of a building?
A: If you read our legend page, this will be answered for you. The 13th Floor is a multi-level haunted attraction.
Q: Will I get my money back if you make it all the way through?
A: Every 113th customer to successfully make it through the 13th Floor, will receive their money back (the price of a general admission ticket).
Q: Are there live animals, reptiles, or insects inside?
A: Yes, there are, please be respectful.
Q: Are there open elevator shafts?
A: Yes, but if you walk where directed, you won’t have any problem making it through.
Q: What Time are you open?
A: Monday through Thursday from 7pm to 10pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7pm to Midnight – Click here for calendar.
Q: How much does it cost? Can we buy tickets online?

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, Visa and Mastercard.
Q: Are there discounts for children?
A: NO, all tickets are the same price.
Q: How long is the wait in line?
A: It depends, at the beginning of October, there is typically very little wait, maybe 20-30 minutes, at the end of the month near Halloween, it can be a very long wait. The closer you come to opening time (7pm) the shorter the wait.
Q: Do you charge for parking?
A: There is plenty of parking available in the Sunset Station, ranging from free on street parking to metered parking and pay lots, please be respectful of the neighboring businesses and do not park in their parking lots without permission.
Q: Is there an age limit or recommendation for the 13th Floor?
A: NO, however due to the graphic nature it is not recommended for small children. We have had young children go through and have a great time and adults who go through and are in tears, you’re the parent, you be the judge. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn’t bring your child to a PG-13 rated movie, probably not a good idea to bring them to a haunted house.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Sorry, I know dogs are welcome most places in San Antonio, however, not at the 13th Floor; it’s just too darn scary for our furry friends. They’d probably be more comfortable in the car (ventilation please) with the other scaredy cats - err humans.
Q: Is the waiting area inside?
A: Part of the waiting area is inside, on busier nights the line will extend outside as well.
Q: Once we've paid for admission are we able to go through again?
A: NO, however, you can purchase another ticket if you would like to walk through again.
Q: How long does it take to go through?
A: It’s really difficult to give an answer to this question, some groups run right through others take their time, guess it depends on how you deal with fear. The 13th Floor Haunted House is one of the largest indoor haunted attractions in Texas, it’s pretty big, so you’ll be in there long enough to get plenty scared!
Q: Is it really scary?
A: YES, It is really scary!
Q: Is The 13th Floor handicap accessible?
A: We do our best to be handicap accessible. There are usually some areas where it may be difficult to get a wheel chair; in these areas we typically provide a bypass.
Q: Is there security?
A: We do our best to have our staff watch out for you, on some busy nights there are police officers at the event.
Q: Can we be denied access to The 13th Floor?
A: YES, absolutely, we will not allow foul language, obscene behavior, weapons, alcohol, drugs, etc. etc. etc., come on now, use your head!
Q: Can we take photos inside your haunted house?
A: NO, photography and video recording are not permitted.
Q: Will the actors touch us, or can we touch the actors?
A: NO, the actors will not touch you, please be respectful and do not touch them. Incidental unintentional contact may occur.
Q: Is it like other haunted houses in San Antonio?
A: The 13th Floor Huanted House is unlike any other haunted house you have been to! However, we do recommend that you visit several haunted houses, heck there only around once a year, and each one has something different to offer!
